City Tour, Aldama With Sotol

Guided tour through the city, visiting the Cathedral, the Quinta Gameros house, the Museum of the Revolution, the Colonial Aqueduct, and the murals of the Government Palace. We'll then move on to Aldama City to stroll through its plaza and church and buy regional sweets. We'll visit the Santa Ana de Chinarras Mission and the aqueducts that still provide water to its inhabitants. And, of course, we'll visit a sotolería, where we'll learn about the process of making this traditional beverage and sample some of its varieties.

Menonite Community

Visit to the Mennonite Museum, which tells the story of their departure from Europe and their life in Chihuahua as we tour its facilities. We'll visit a traditional Mennonite house, where we'll have a delicious lunch featuring their own products, including the famous Mennonite cheese and sausage, chorizo, pickled gherkins, jams, butter, and of course their bread and cookies, accompanied by coffee or lemonade. Before continuing our journey, we'll stop by one of their cheese factories, where they'll explain the production process and allow us to purchase the cheese of the day.

City Tour And Sotol Taste

Guided walk through the city, visiting the Cathedral, the University Cultural Center (formerly Quinta Gameros), the House of Pancho Villa (now the Museum of the Revolution), the Colonial Aqueduct, and the murals of the Government Palace. We will conclude our tour with a visit to a popular bar in the historic center to sample a variety of this traditional drink from Chihuahua Desert.
