Copper Canyon: A Natural Giant

The Copper Canyon system, also known as the Copper Canyon, is a network of seven canyons that extends for approximately 60,000 km², being four times larger in area and almost twice in depth than the Grand Canyon of Colorado in the United States. Among its most notable formations are the Barranca de Urique, the deepest in Mexico at 1,879 meters, and the Barranca de Candameña, home to the Piedra Volada and Basaseachi waterfalls, the two highest in the country.
