Batopilas: Depth Of The Cannyons

Descend more than 1,800 meters to the magical town of Batopilas, founded in 1708 thanks to the wealth found in its mines. We'll take a walk to learn about its history, visit the hidden Satevó Mission, hike to one of its old mines, and enjoy a delicious local meal with pinole water and lechuguilla. We'll stay in one of its hotels, which will transport us back to the golden age of this beautiful place.

Jump on a board from the top of a huge sandbar in the Chihuahuan Desert, the largest in North America, and have the opportunity to sleep under its beautiful starry sky, staying in the middle of the desert. On the way back, we wont miss the chance to try the famous burritos of Villa Ahumada.

Paquime And Mata Ortiz

We will learn about the interesting Paquimé Archaeological Site, "Place of Large Houses," declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998, as well as the Museum of Northern Cultures. We will arrive in Mata Ortiz, a village of artisans who create the famous Mata Ortiz pottery. We will visit a workshop, where we will be welcomed with a delicious lunch, and we will be shown the technique learned from the Paquimé people. We will also experiment with making our own pottery.

Magical Guachochi

Discover the beautiful Guachochi Forest and experience the adventure of soaring between the walls of the imposing Sinforosa, the queen of the canyons, the second largest in the Copper Canyon. You'll also visit the viewpoint, the Salto waterfall with its zip lines, and the Garza Lake. We'll stay in the village or deep in the forest in a beautiful cabin with an outdoor fireplace.
